Stable Families Program offered at Vine Maple Place

Eligibility

Single-parent families and pregnant women who are residents or have connections(family, school and /or work) with a 9 mile radius of the resource center within the following cities: Black Diamond, Covington, Maple Valley and parts of Auburn, Kent and Renton. Multi-generational households accepted. Must have a child under age 18 living in the home. Also serves pregnant women. Must be in imminent danger of becoming homeless. Eviction notice not required. Program applicants undergo a background check and drug test. Must be willing to participate in stabilization program which includes financial literacy classes and programming. No income required to apply, but must be able and willing to work.

Hours

M-F, 8:30am-5pm.

Provides housing stabilization assistance for single-parent families and pregnant women who are in imminent danger of becoming homeless and who live in Maple Valley and cities within a nine-mile radius.   Provides the following services as the family grows to stability:   -  Rent assistance -  Housing case management -  Employment services -  Financial budgeting -  Life skills classes -  Child and youth case management -  Counseling
