Eligibility

Must be screened through Council for the Homeless. Eligible applicants must meet below criteria: - Temporarily unable to work due to a mental health or physical health issue. - Homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. - Age 18 and older. If under the age of 18, must be legally emancipated or married to someone 18 or older. - Meet income and resource requirements. - Meet citizenship requirements.

Description

Provides short-term financial assistance for housing needs, including rent, hotel/motel stays, and deposits. Also helps with personal health and hygiene items, cleaning supplies, and bus passes. Assistance is not available in the form of gift cards, vouchers, certificates, or cash.

Share Inc

Coordinates four shelters for homeless men, women, and families in Clark County. Operates Share Outreach to homeless individuals and transitional housing with up to two years in case-managed housing programs. Operates a daily community meal service for homeless and low-income individuals. Coordinates AHAS, a coordinated system for providing case management, housing, and connection to supportive services in the community for homeless families and individuals.
