Veterans Relief Fund offered at Asotin County Community Services
Assists veterans and their family with rental or utility deposit, education, medical bills, rent or mortgage, transportation, or utility bills. Must be below 150% of FPL and received an honorable discharge or under honorable conditions.
Provides timely emergency or crisis relief for eligible veterans and/or eligible family members. May be able to assist with
- Deposit: (Residence or Utilities) one time only
- Education: Tuition Assistance, books and equipment
- Medical / Dental / Optometry: Once per year 12-month period - two times total
- Rent or Mortgage: Once per year, no more than 2 consecutive times total
- Transportation reimbursement for travel to VA or other Medical Facilities and local bus tokens.
- Utilities including power, water, garbage, and propane with proof of shut off
