Provides culturally relevant counseling and mental health services using a variety of clinical approaches, including evaluations and individual, family, and couples counseling. Psychiatric nurse practitioner offers evaluations for psychiatric medication and medication management. Also offers Positive Indian Parenting classes, as well as school- and home-based services.

The Early Childhood Services at OlyCAP are focused on addressing the needs of families with children age five and younger.  Preschool, early childhood development, child care and family support services are offered at sites throughout Clallam and Jefferson counties.  Children enrolled receive a developmental screening, an individualized learning plan, at least two meals each day and an active learning experience on days they attend the center.  In addition to children services, each family enrolled receives support in accessing medical and dental care for their child, parenting education, home visits and help with finding needed services or resources in the community. Head Start/Early Head Start Head Start and Early Head Start programs promote school readiness by enhancing the social and cognitive development of children through the provision of educational, health, nutritional, social and other services to enrolled children and families.  The program strives to engage parents in their children’s leaning and help them in making progress toward their educational, literacy and employment goals.  Additionally, the Early Head Start program promotes healthy prenatal outcomes, promotes healthy family functioning, and strengthens the development of infants and toddlers. Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) The Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program is a whole-child, family-focused pre-school program designed to help low-income and at-risk children and their families succeed in school and life.  Because of the many factors that affect a child’s learning ability and development, ECEAP has four interactive components.  They are: learning in a pre-school setting, health screening and assistance with follow-up medical and dental care, healthy snacks and meals, and family support including help accessing resources and social service. Provides individual information and resources on how individuals can advocate for their child(ren) in the health care system, as well as making informed choices around coverage and care. Provides health care navigation training for youth, families and community leaders. Outreach to cultural and community groups. Provides information, resources, training, support and referral services in Washington State.

Helps pregnant and newly parenting women prepare for delivery and parenthood with a series of classes. Lessons include topics such as Understanding Pregnancy, Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Infant Hygiene, Infant First-Aid and Getting Your Baby to Sleep. At each weekly appointment, clients will meet one-on-one with a trained peer mentor for one hour. With each lesson that is completed, clients will earn “baby bucks” for supplies such as diapers, wipes, clothing and blankets.

Provides training, information and resources to parents, individuals with disabilities and professionals regarding issues of education. Provides one-on-one support and coordinate workshops in communities throughout Washington. Publishes PAVE Pipeline, a quarterly newsletter, for subscribers which offers information about upcoming workshops and articles of interest. Provides referrals to support groups for parents of children with disabilities.

HFCC victim services include DV support group, domestic violence and sexual assault support and crisis intervention, advocacy, legal advocacy, emergency and transitional housing. HFCC also provides support, advocacy, intervention and legal advocacy to victims of general crime.
