The Colville Office provides medically necessary transportation for low-income elders (those age 60 and over) and adults with disabilities (temporary or permanent) who cannot pay for services, do not qualify for state-paid services, and do not have family and friends available to help them.

Mentoring Services offered at City Gates Ministries
Offers limited financial assistance for things such as rent, utilities, or other needs. Also seeks to connect the household to other services that may prevent the situation from recurring. Call for an intake appointment.

Once these basic needs are satisfied, we further offer mentoring in life skills, financial advocacy, and guidance to help our clients transition from dependent poverty to self-sufficiency through personal, spiritual, and professional growth.

Goes out every Thursday evening to offer a church without walls, and provides food, clothing, hygiene supplies, batteries, candles, sleeping bags, blankets, back packs, diapers and more. On the corner of State and Franklin.

Senior & Disabled Volunteer Services offered at Community Action of Skagit County
Serves low-income elderly (60 plus) and disabled (18 to 59) persons in the community.
Serves low-income elderly (60 plus) and disabled (18 to 59) people living independently in the community. Volunteer services provided include: shopping/errands, transportation, household repairs, yard care, housekeeping, occasional meal prep, and other necessary assistance. We have added telephone welfare checks, mental wellness check-ins, and grocery store pick up and delivery.
