At Spokane Falls Recovery Center, they are able to provide medications that will ease symptoms of withdrawal as your body and mind adjust. Medication-assisted detox increases the odds that a person will complete treatment, so they recommend this option to many of their patients.

Food, room and sundries are provided. Medical and dental services are offered through local medical facilities as needed basis, with medical staff on staff as well. Operates a long-term residential rehabilitation program for women struggling with substance use disorder, including treatment for women who are pregnant or parenting, located at the women's shelter in South Seattle.   Women live at the shelter for about three months in "candidacy phase" before they decide to go in to the Oaks program.   Women who are struggling with trauma can receive targeted assistance through counseling, case management and classroom instruction.    Once in the Oaks program, additional classes are offered in such life skills as:   -  Safe Relationships -  Parenting -  Job/School Readiness -  Bible Studies    DUI Evaluations Provides a court-ordered assessment of individuals who have been convicted of driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol to evaluate the severity of their problem and make a recommendation to the court regarding appropriate treatment.   Length of service can be anywhere between six months to two years depending on the needs of the individual and/or court order.   Post-graduation internships available. Internships may lead to full-time employment with The Mission or other employers.

This faith-based program is an addiction recovery community providing a long-term residential drug and alcohol recovery program for people who are willing to make a long-term commitment. Goal-oriented recovery program, not time-based. Program provides for all personal needs, food, clothing, housing, and hygiene products. Requirements include work, participation in religious activities and educational programs.

Offers gender-specific residential substance abuse treatment programs with integrated mental health services for clients. Also offers family therapy, dual diagnosis, and medically monitored residential treatments.

Offers a Christian-based 6-month inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation program, including individual and group counseling, spiritual counseling and 12-strep recovery, and community volunteering opportunities. Participants cannot be employed when applying for the program as it is an intensive inpatient program to focus on Substance Use Disorder issues. Provides education about alcoholism and other drug addiction. Space is available for 30 men in shared living arrangements. Clients stay 6 months in the initial program phase (Bridge 1) and have options to continue into other phases that can amount to 14 months. There is extensive support for after-care including Life and Career Building Skills classes for participants in their last 2 months of phase 1 as well as case management for Supportive Housing and Employment. Participants who relapse will be expelled from the program. After completion of the program, The Salvation Army has additional program components to help individuals re-establish themselves into the community.
